Dyslexia Evaluation & Care

Dr. Gorno-Tempini and her team evaluate language disorders in children at the UCSF Language Clinic. Our multidisciplinary team of clinicians has expertise in cognitive and behavioral difficulties associated with neurodevelopment differences and acquired aphasia. Neurological, psychiatric, neuropsychological and speech and language assessments are combined to provide individualized clinical consultation to determine the neuroscience-based evaluation, follow-up, and remediation plan. Neuroimaging and laboratory testing will often be required to complete the evaluation.

Dr. Robert Hendren is available for psychiatric evaluations and treatment evaluations in the clinic or on refererral for co-occurring issues such as ADHD, anxiety, and depression.
